BlockBeats News, May 21st, according to Bloomberg, Christopher Giancarlo, the former chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) known as "Crypto Dad" for his early support of digital assets, has joined Jefferies Financial Group Inc. as a senior advisor focusing on investment banking.

During his tenure, the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) and CME Group Inc. launched the first Bitcoin futures contracts and promoted Bitcoin derivatives self-regulation.
