BlockBeats News, June 9th, The Open Network community has concluded its voting on TON Vote. The results show that 81.22% of participants voted to rename the network's native token from Toncoin to Gram, and the token code will also change from TON to GRAM.

This change will officially take effect on June 15, 2026, at 20:00 (UTC+8). The blockchain itself remains as The Open Network, with only the token name, code, and icon undergoing changes.

This adjustment does not require any action from users, nor does it involve token exchanges, cross-chain bridges, claiming, or migration processes. User balances, addresses, smart contracts, NFTs, staked assets, and DeFi positions all remain entirely unchanged.

The voting began on June 1, 2026, and concluded on June 8. All ecosystem projects, including exchanges, are expected to complete the update at 20:00 (UTC+8) and achieve full ecosystem consistency by June 22, 2026.
