BlockBeats News, July 4th, according to Bloomberg, the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments) announced on Friday that it will invest $1.75 billion to support EQT AB's artificial intelligence infrastructure construction.

CPP Investments stated in a press release that the AI infrastructure expansion project will be led by EQT's subsidiary, EdgeConneX. Over the next few years, EdgeConneX plans to add over 10 gigawatts (GW) of data center capacity to meet the increasing demand for computing power infrastructure driven by artificial intelligence.
