Iran Floats Hormuz Reopening Proposal as Nuclear Talks Stay Delayed

CoinEx News: Iran gave the U.S. a new proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and end the war while postponing nuclear negotiations, Axios reported on April 27, citing a U.S. official and two people familiar with the matter. The proposal was delivered through Pakistani mediators after weekend talks failed to produce progress, while Business Insider reported Brent crude had moved above $100 as the strait remained closed and U.S.-Iran diplomacy stalled.

Any credible path to reopening Hormuz would ease oil-driven inflation pressure and support risk appetite, while rejection keeps energy volatility as a macro overhang for BTC and ETH liquidity.
