암호화폐 채굴 기업 코어사이언티픽(CORZ)이 텍사스주 페코스(Pecos) 부지를 최대 1.5GW 규모의 AI 특화 데이터센터 캠퍼스로 개발한다고 코인텔레그래프가 전했다. 계획된 용량 중 약 1GW가 임대 가능하며, 현재 비트코인 채굴에 사용 중인 약 300메가와트(MW)가 데이터센터 운영으로 전환된다. 또한 코어사이언티픽은 부지 지원을 위해 200에이커 이상의 토지도 추가 매입했다.
