CoinEx News: FIFA has built a custom Avalanche L1 blockchain, called FIFA Blockchain, to power digital ticket rights on its FIFA Collect platform ahead of the 2026 World Cup. Fans buy tradeable "Right-to-Buy" (RTB) tokens, exchange them for "Right-to-Ticket" (RTT) tokens, then redeem RTTs for official match tickets, with every trade recorded on-chain. Over 100,000 RTBs have been issued and more than 50,000 FIFA Club World Cup tickets distributed via RTB, with combined RTB and RTT trading volume exceeding $25 million. By routing secondary-market trading onto its own chain, FIFA can watch every transaction, block bot-driven scalping, and capture fees that previously flowed to third-party resellers, putting a real-world adoption case behind AVAX.
