CoinEx News: Three separate exploits hit crypto over the June 20–22 weekend. Layer-2 network Taiko lost about $1.7 million after an attacker forged the proofs its bridge uses to verify transfers — security firm BlockSec suspects a leaked signing key — and the team halted the chain and asked exchanges to freeze TAIKO deposits. The Axelar–Secret Network bridge lost $4.67 million to an "infinite mint" bug, dormant in the code since 2023, that let the attacker create tokens with nothing backing them. And JaredFromSubway, one of Ethereum's busiest trading bots, was drained of roughly $7.5 million after fake tokens tricked it into approving the theft itself. DefiLlama now counts more than 20 crypto hacks in June, so this is a fast-moving stretch, not a run of flukes.
