BlockBeats News, July 23rd. As of the end of June, Google, a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc., has entered into future expenditure commitments totaling as high as $811 billion, soaring by nearly $500 billion in just three months.

These obligations, disclosed separately from Alphabet's capital expenditure budget, represent amounts committed to be paid based on supply agreements and outstanding purchase orders. Google disclosed in a quarterly filing that around $200.7 billion of the total is for short-term expenditures. These commitments cover a wide range of areas including chips, data centers, power, inventory, and content licensing. This sharp increase highlights how quickly Alphabet is securing resources as it expands its AI business infrastructure.

According to BIT (bit.com) market data, Alphabet's intraday decline has widened to over 7%.
