1. What is a P2P Merchant Event?
The P2P Merchant Event is a special initiative by CoinEx to encourage merchants to participate in posting P2P ads and trading between users. Merchants who successfully register can earn points by posting ads for the required fiat trading zone under the event, and the rewards will be given to merchants based on their daily points ranking.
2. How to Register for the P2P Merchant Event?
Before participating, you need to activate your merchant access first. Please refer to "How to Become a P2P Merchant" for further information.
Once you have become a P2P merchant, you can visit the event page to register and submit your application as mentioned on the page. After the approval, you can post ads to earn points. For more details, please refer to "How to Register for P2P Merchant Events".
3. Can I participate in multiple events for rewards?
Yes, there is no limit on the number of events you can participate in. If you wish to join multiple events, you just need to submit an application on each event homepage.
4. After successful registration, can I immediately post ads to earn points?
As soon as CoinEx receives your application, we will review it as soon as possible and notify you of the result via email and in-site message. You can also check your registration status on the event homepage. When your registration is successful, you can start earning points by posting eligible ads.
5. Can I earn points by posting ads of all fiats?
No. Each event is limited to specified fiat trading zones. Posting only valid ads in the specified fiat trading zone will earn points. For detailed rules of points, please refer to "Rules of P2P Merchant Event Points". Information about the designated fiat trading zone is available on each event homepage.
6. How are the points earned from posting ads and calculated?
During the event, the system will calculate ad points for the specified fiat currency and trading zone every minute. Points are based on two factors: the difference between the ad price and the fair price, and the ad's ranking in the list. For detailed rules of points, please refer to "Rules of P2P Merchant Event Points".
7. How is the ranking determined in the event?
The ranking is based on the cumulative points of participating merchants for that day, with points reset on a daily basis. Merchants with higher points rankings on the day are eligible for rewards. For detailed rules of rewards, please refer to "Rules of P2P Merchant Event Rewards".
8. How can I check my ranking?
You can view your current points and ranking in real time on the event homepage, with data updated on an hourly basis. To review points and rewards from previous events, you may go to the Merchant Dashboard and check under [Event Participation History] in the top right corner.
9. How to check the rewards available?
Since each event has a different prize pool, please visit the event homepage to see the rewards for different rankings.
10. When are the event rewards distributed? Can I withdraw them?
Event rewards are distributed daily. Rewards will be credited to your spot account the following day and frozen for a period of time. If there are no issues with your account or merchant status after the freeze period, the system will automatically unlock the rewards, which can then be withdrawn. For detailed rules of rewards, please refer to "Rules of P2P Merchant Event Rewards".
11. Why did my event rewards fail to be distributed?
During the distribution, please ensure your P2P merchant access is active and not restricted, or the rewards cannot be distributed. If you have any issues with reward distribution, please submit a request for official assistance.
12. Why haven’t my event rewards unlocked as scheduled or been revoked?
To maintain a fair and just P2P trading environment, CoinEx has established penalty rules for potential malicious behaviors. If you repeatedly fail to accept orders on time, have restricted merchant access, or are suspected of fraud, score manipulation or malicious competition, your earned rewards may not unlock or even be revoked. In severe cases, CoinExmay restrict your P2P merchant access or cancel your merchant access. If you are penalized and disagree with the decision, please submit a request for an official appeal.
13. What should I do if I find a merchant manipulating scores or posting invalid ads?
CoinEx has a risk control mechanism that automatically monitors all P2P transactions and identifies score manipulation, click farming, invalid ads, or transactions. Once detected, CoinEx will ban such accounts and disqualify them from the events. If you spot any malicious competition, fraud, or false transactions, please report it to us by submitting a request.
