What is a Proof of Address?
When completing Advanced Verification, you need to submit a proof of address issued by an official agency. The document must include your full name, residential address, and issuance date, allowing us to verify that your current residence is genuine, accurate, and belongs to you.
Your proof of address must meet all of the following requirements:
- Shows your full name (including middle name, if applicable)
- Shows your complete residential address
- Issued within the last 3 months
- Issued by an official or trusted institution with visible institution information (such as logo, contact details, or website)
List of Proof of Address
1. Valid Proof of Address
Includes but is not limited to:
(1) Utility Bills
- Electricity, water, gas, sewage, etc.
(2) Bank and Financial Institution Documents
- Bank/Credit card statements
- Bank reference letters
(3) Telecom and Internet Service Bills
- Internet service bills (ISP account statements)
- Communication service bills (landline/internet/cable/telecom service bills)
(4) Housing-Related Documents
- Property and building management (building management bills)
- Housing finance documents (mortgage statements)
- Rental and residence proof (government rental contracts, certificate of lease registration)
(5) Tax and Government Agency Letters
- Tax-related documents (tax letters/bills from the last 3 months, annual tax returns/income tax returns from the past year)
- Government-issued proof of address (within the last 3 months)
2. Invalid Proof of Address
The following document types are not accepted as proof of address:
- Identification documents
- Invoice/transaction receipt/checks
- Screenshot of address documentation
- Government-issued correspondence older than 3 months
- Bank statements older than 3 months
- Utility bills older than 3 months
- Pension statements
- Insurance policies/bills
- Medical bills
- Receipts for purchases
- Insurance statements
- Documents showing a PO Box only
- Envelopes and parcels
- Prepaid card statements
- Collection agency bills
- Discount card documents
- Car rent bills
3. Uploading Guidelines

(1) The document must clearly show your full name, residential address, issuance date, and issuing agency.
(2) The document is issued within the last 3 months.
(3) The document type meets the proof-of-address requirements (refer to the above POA list).
(4) Screenshots are not accepted. Only JPG, JPEG, or PNG formats are allowed, with a maximum file size of 5MB.
(5) Photos/scans of paper documents, or PDF files, are supported.
(6) The document must be original and should not be edited or altered in any way.
(7) The entire document must be complete, unobstructed, and clearly readable.

FAQs
1. Can an ID cards/residence permit be used as proof of address?
No. Please submit an official document that can serve as a proof of address, as detailed in the second section of this article.
2. What if I have moved abroad and cannot provide proof of my original residence?
Select your current country and submit valid proof of address from that country.
3. What if my bank/credit card/e-wallet statement does not show address information?
Please provide another official document that clearly shows your full address.
4. Can I submit a proof of address that is in my family member’s name?
No. The POA document must be in your own name.
5. How can I modify my proof of address after it has been approved?
Once Personal Advanced Verification is approved, it cannot be edited directly. If you need to make changes, please submit a ticket to contact us.
