What Should I Do If I Deposit Crypto to the Wrong Address

There are three procedures for a cryptocurrency transfer: Withdrawal ➞ Block Confirmations ➞ Deposit.

Depending on the nature of the erroneous deposit, the following actions can be taken:

1. Depositing to the address for another crypto on your account

If you deposit coin A to the address of coin B by mistake, the deposit will not be credited. To retrieve your assets, please submit a request to Retrieve Uncredited Deposit.

Example: Deposit MATIC-MATIC to VECHAIN address.

Note: Some incorrect transactions cannot be processed. Please contact customer support by submitting a ticket or sending an email to support@coinex.com for assistance.

2. Depositing to an address that does not belong to CoinEx

Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible. Once confirmed on the blockchain, they cannot be undone. If you have deposited to an incorrect address that does not belong to CoinEx, please contact the receiving platform for further assistance.
