What is ID Verification used for?
Completing ID verification increases your account's 24-hour withdrawal limit. Not completing it will not affect the normal functionality of other account features.

How to Complete ID Verification?
1. Visit CoinEx's official website (https://www.coinex.com), and select [ID Verification] from the dropdown menu under the [Avatar] icon in the top-right corner.
2. Read the [Reminder] and check the declaration box, and click [I'm all set for ID Verification].
3. Fill in [Basic Info] correctly, and click [Next].
Currently, there are two scenarios for ID verification:
(1) If your nationality matches the country of residence, please complete nationality verification.
(2) If your nationality does not match the country of residence, please complete nationality & address verification.
Scenario 1: Nationality Matches Residence Country
4. Upload your identification document:
- ID Card or Driver's License: Upload both sides.
- Passport: Upload the first page.
5. Complete ID verification using one of the following methods.
Method 1: Face recognition verification
Center your face in the frame and follow the on-screen instructions to complete facial verification.
Method 2: Selfie for verification
Upload a photo of you holding both the front side of your identification document and a handwritten declaration, then click [Submit].
Note: The declaration must include the current date "20XX/XX/XX" and "CoinEx".
6. After completing the above steps, the review result will be sent to your email within 1-3 business days.
Scenario 2: Nationality Does Not Match Residence Country
1. Complete the basic information and fill in a detailed residence address that matches your country of residence.
Note: The address must exactly match that on the proof of address document.
2. Upload your identification document:
- ID Card or Driver's License: Upload both sides.
- Passport: Upload the first page.
3. Select the type of proof of address, then click to upload the address file.
Document Requirements:
- Please upload a document with the above residential address, which must bear: your name, address, the date of issue, and the issuing authority.
- The address information on documents must be clearly legible, and documents must be issued within the last 3 months
- When uploading a photo, please include the complete document borders.
4. Complete the identity verification using one of the following methods:
Method 1: Face recognition verification
Center your face in the frame and follow the on-screen instructions to complete facial verification.
Method 2: Selfie for verification
Upload a photo of you holding both the front side of your identification document and a handwritten declaration, then click [Submit].
Note: The declaration must include the current date "20XX/XX/XX" and "CoinEx".
5. After completing the above steps, the review result will be sent to your email within 1-3 business days.
Reminders:
1. Photos must be in JPG, JPEG, or PNG format, with a maximum upload size of 5MB.
2. Scanned copies, faxes, photocopies, or edited photos are not accepted.
3. Photos must be clear and uncropped, with no watermarks or obstructions.
4. Ensure your ID document is valid.
5. Ensure no other people are in the photo, and your face is clear and unobstructed.
6. Confirm that the handwritten declaration includes: "CoinEx" and "current date".
