BlockBeats News, July 2nd - Iran is preparing for the state funeral of the late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, with the military issuing a stern warning. Ali Abdollahi, Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' Hattam Anbia Central Headquarters, stated: "We warn the United States and Israel not to make any miscalculation. Any threat or aggression will result in a severe retaliation by the Iranian armed forces." Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi also voiced out on social media, urging Trump to "control his minions in Tel Aviv."

Funeral Arrangements: The funeral procession will begin in Tehran on July 4th, with the burial taking place in Mashhad on July 9th, and commemorative events will be held in Qom and Iraq. Iran has elevated the national security level and implemented temporary airspace restrictions in several areas. Iranian Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf called on the public to participate in the funeral on a large scale, "letting the voice of revenge echo around the world."

Currently, the next round of indirect talks between the US and Iran will begin after the funeral, focusing on topics such as the implementation of a ceasefire memorandum, asset freeze unfreezing, and the issue of freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. The two sides still maintain sharp differences regarding freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. Khamenei was killed in an airstrike on the first day of the war on February 28th of this year, and his son Mujtaba Khamenei has succeeded him as the Supreme Leader.
