CoinEx News: Aave's rsETH recovery effort gained new support on April 23-24 after the EtherFi Foundation proposed deploying up to 5,000 ETH from its DAO treasury and MantleCore submitted a draft MIP-34 to lend up to 30,000 ETH to Aave DAO. Aave's April 20 incident report said the April 18 Kelp DAO rsETH bridge exploit left potential Aave bad debt between $123.7 million and $230.1 million, depending on how losses are allocated.

The proposals are not final votes yet, but they show DeFi protocols moving to contain cross-market lending risk before bad debt spreads across Aave V3 reserves.
