BlockBeats News, July 26th, Anthropic's core technical member Julian Schrittwieser recently published a post on X platform mocking Jensen Huang's support for open-weight AI models, stating, "Looking forward to CUDA and GPU driver open-sourcing."

Earlier, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang posted his first personal tweet, sharing an open letter titled "Open Weights and American AI Leadership" co-signed by NVIDIA. The co-signers include Meta, Microsoft, Andreessen Horowitz, Hugging Face, IBM, Mistral AI, Palantir, Perplexity, Mozilla, NVIDIA, Y Combinator, and more than 20 other tech companies and organizations. The open letter states that the U.S. needs both top-notch closed-source models and top-notch open-source models, and the government should not prematurely restrict open-source AI.

Anthropic did not co-sign the open letter.
