BlockBeats News, August 20th, Starbucks laid off 104 positions as part of a restructuring plan aimed at boosting growth, while also firing employees who refused to relocate to the new office in Nashville, USA.

The company parted ways with around 120 employees who declined to move from Seattle to the new Nashville office, with the Nashville office expected to eventually accommodate around 2,000 employees.

Under CEO Brian Niccol's leadership, Starbucks plans to cut $2 billion in costs over a two-year period, including streamlining the company's structure, and has already eliminated over 2,300 corporate positions since last year.
