Investors include Ivy League endowments, sovereign wealth funds, and non-profit organizations, with a specific list undisclosed. Framework co-founders Vance Spencer and Michael Anderson stated that the new fund will focus on the "frontier tech" sector, covering not only crypto but also AI, robotics, and energy.
