BlockBeats News, July 10th - According to Iran's Tasnim News Agency, a Qatari political delegation arrived in Iran today to hold talks with Iranian officials. Qatar's purpose in this visit to Iran is to strengthen its position as a mediator.

However, earlier, Qatar accused Iran of an incident in the Strait of Hormuz, after which the U.S. military launched a series of large-scale attacks on Iranian military and civilian targets on Wednesday and Thursday.

An Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson expressed regret over Qatar's accusations, calling them "questionable, contradicting the principles of good neighborliness, and unacceptable." Therefore, the Qatari side should explain during this visit: why they attempted to cooperate with the United States to bypass Iran's designated maritime route despite clearly understanding the contents of the Islamabad Memorandum's Article 5, and why they were quick to accuse Iran without any prior communication with Iran.
