BlockBeats News, May 6th, Kelp DAO announced that following the hack incident, it will abandon LayerZero and instead adopt the Chainlink Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) as its cross-chain infrastructure, utilizing Chainlink's Cross-Chain Token (CCT) standard.

Previously, Kelp DAO suffered a approximately $292 million cross-chain bridge attack in April, where the attacker, suspected to be linked to the North Korean Lazarus Group, exploited a single validator setup of the LayerZero-powered OFT cross-chain bridge to steal 116,500 rsETH.
