BlockBeats News, August 23rd, Keeta co-founder Ty (@schenkty) released a statement regarding a recent security incident, stating that the team's investigation has made significant progress and has collected evidence confirming the responsible party for this attack. Keeta has obtained various information related to the attack, including the attacker's used IP addresses, VPN and VPS service infrastructure, user agents and technical environment used to initiate unauthorized requests, associated email addresses, software used, and infrastructure service providers, among other identity verification information. Currently, the relevant evidence has been preserved and will be provided to the relevant parties.
Keeta has given the attacker a 72-hour deadline to return all funds obtained in this attack. The team stated that they are willing to accept the return of funds in the form of KTA, ETH, or USDC and has published the fund return address on the Base network. If the attacker fully returns the funds, Keeta is open to discussing an appropriate bug bounty to acknowledge their responsible disclosure and attempts to resolve the incident without further legal action.
Keeta has emphasized that the full return of funds and cooperation to confirm the resolution of the incident are prerequisites for this arrangement. If the funds are not returned within 72 hours, the team will reserve all rights and continue to pursue legal and fund recovery actions.
