BlockBeats News, August 29th, Avici announced that its card issuance partner Rain discovered a vulnerability in an old version of the Solana card contract used by Avici and a few other projects today. Currently, the related contracts have been upgraded in all projects, and no further unauthorized activities have been found.

Avici stated that this incident only affected an independent Solana contract used to store post-recharge card balances. Users' Avici wallets are isolated from the card balance, and funds in Solana and EVM self-custodial wallets are secure and unaffected.

Currently, investigations show that a total of 1685 users were affected, involving a card balance totaling approximately $500,900. Avici has pledged to fully refund the card balances to all affected users and has reported to the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Earlier today, BlockBeats reported that the encrypted bank project Avici's native token AVICI was suspected of being hacked, resulting in a loss of approximately $1.02 million. The attacker transferred the stolen 10,000 SOL to another wallet and exchanged it for approximately $1.02 million USDC, then exchanged the funds for approximately 418 ETH through cross-chain operations.
