CME and Nasdaq to Launch Cryptocurrency Index Futures

BlockBeats News, June 10th, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Group (CME Group) announced the official launch of the Nasdaq CME Crypto Index Futures. These futures contracts settle in cash based on the value of the "Nasdaq CME Crypto Price Index" at expiration. The index tracks the performance of the largest market-cap and most actively traded cryptocurrencies. As of the publication date, the constituent currencies include Bitcoin, BCH, Ethereum, SOL, XRP, ADA, LINK, and Lumens (XLM).
