BlockBeats News, May 29th, according to Bloomberg, the European Commission is planning to meet with Anthropic to obtain more information about the Mythos model and request access to open the model to the European Union.

Since Anthropic revealed that Mythos is extremely effective at identifying network vulnerabilities and could pose a significant cybersecurity risk, the European Union has been trying to gain access to Mythos. However, approval from the United States may be required to proceed. Meanwhile, Anthropic plans to widely release new models in the coming weeks, with cybersecurity capabilities comparable to Mythos.

Earlier, CNBC reported that OpenAI has opened up its GPT-5.5-Cyber cybersecurity model to the European Union, while Anthropic has yet to provide the Mythos model. Insiders revealed that the European Union has been in negotiations with Anthropic regarding access, but the progress is distinctly different from the situation with OpenAI.
