BlockBeats News, June 25th. In the United States, initial jobless claims for the week ending June 20th came in at 215,000, lower than the expected 225,000. The previous value was revised from 226,000 to 227,000.
The final reading of the US first-quarter real GDP growth rate came in at 2.1% on an annualized basis, higher than the expected 1.60% and unchanged from the previous value. The US core PCE price index for May showed a 3.4% year-on-year increase, in line with market expectations, hitting a new high since October 2023.
