It was announced that trading is now available within the Phantom wallet. The platform is supported by Chainlink's core oracle infrastructure to achieve automatic settlement of market data and outcomes.

World stated that its platform will first open prediction markets for cryptocurrency prices and the 2026 international football event (FIFA Men's World Cup), including products such as Bitcoin short-term price prediction. The platform emphasizes that it operates entirely on-chain, with all markets, positions, and settlements done on Solana. Users can participate in trading without the need to move funds to an off-chain custody environment.

The official announcement mentioned that World uses the stablecoin CASH for settlements and is directly available to over 20 million users through the Phantom wallet, reducing the entry barriers. Additionally, the project leverages Chainlink's data feeds and Chainlink Run Environment (CRE) for automated oracle settlements, aiming to enhance the transparency, real-time nature, and scalability of prediction markets. There are plans to expand to event markets covering politics, macroeconomics, and more cultural themes in the future.
