According to the latest 13F filing for Q1 2026 released by Situational Awareness LP, the fund manager known as the "25-Year-Old AI Stock God" significantly shifted towards a bold strategy of "heavily shorting the semiconductor sector while continuing to bet on AI infrastructure" in the first quarter.

His largest short position is concentrated in the semiconductor and AI chain, with the total value of put options amounting to a staggering $8.46 billion, accounting for approximately 62% of the portfolio's total declared value. Among them:

The VanEck Semiconductor ETF (SMH) put options position reached $2.04 billion, as the largest single position;

NVIDIA put options amounted to $1.57 billion;

Oracle put options stood at $1.07 billion;

Broadcom put options reached $1 billion;

AMD put options totaled $0.969 billion;

TSMC and ASML put options amounted to $0.535 billion and $0.494 billion, respectively.

Compared to Q4 2025, the fund previously held only about $8.91 million in put options, indicating a significant shift towards defensive and short positions in the first quarter. At the same time, its long positions remained highly focused on AI, power, and digital asset infrastructure:

Holdings of Bloom Energy common stock amounted to $0.879 billion;

Sandisk common stock holdings were $0.724 billion;

CoreWeave common stock holdings totaled $0.556 billion;

AI data center and Bitcoin mining companies such as IREN, Core Scientific, and Applied Digital also received significant allocations.

It is noteworthy that the fund significantly reduced its previous AI long leverage bets:

CoreWeave call options plummeted from $0.774 billion in Q4 to a mere $0.141 billion;

Intel call options were completely liquidated, and a $0.159 billion Intel put options position was established instead.

Furthermore, the fund completely exited its positions in Lumentum, Coherent, Tower Semiconductor, Cipher Mining, and other previously held technology and mining targets.
