Trump Threatens Military Action, Multiple Countries Urgently Intervene; Iran Agreement Negotiation Reportedly "Close to Completion"

BlockBeats News, June 12th - According to Politico, citing multiple sources, after US President Trump's statement of readiness to take a "tough military action" against Iran, leaders from Qatar, the UAE, and Pakistan quickly phoned the White House to urge against military escalation and assure the US that a preliminary peace agreement was close to being reached.

The report stated that the Emir of Qatar, the President of the UAE, and the Pakistani military leadership were all involved in emergency talks, emphasizing that the current negotiations had made progress in a phased manner. These statements prompted Trump to adjust his stance and state that the "agreement could be signed this weekend."

In social media posts and White House remarks, Trump mentioned that the US and Iran had reached a preliminary consensus on a "war resolution solution," with the document in its final drafting stage.

However, Iran has shown a cautious attitude. A spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry stated that while the negotiating text had outlined a framework, key issues remained unresolved, and Iran had not made a final decision yet.

The current negotiations focus on the Strait of Hormuz navigation arrangements and a mechanism for releasing some frozen funds, involving an amount of or exceeding $160 billion, but a final agreement has not yet been reached. US officials also indicated that the nuclear issue negotiations needed to enter a more complex stage. Analysts pointed out that despite diplomatic progress, Iran's internal decision-making process and Israel's stance could still be crucial uncertainties in reaching the agreement, as the situation remains highly sensitive.
