BlockBeats News, August 23rd. Grayscale's Director of Research, Zach Pandl, stated in a post that while investors are generally advised against timing the market, judging from three aspects—structural adoption trends, market cycles, and macro risks—the current Bitcoin price may provide a favorable entry point for investors with a long-term investment horizon.
Grayscale believes that the ongoing government debt growth, the expanding use of blockchain technology in the financial services sector, and the intergenerational shift in portfolio construction indicate that the long-term adoption trend of Bitcoin remains robust. The current Bitcoin bear market has lasted for about 10 months, while previous bear markets usually lasted 11 to 12 months, suggesting that the market may have entered the later stage of the bear market.
The macro environment remains a key uncertainty. If the Federal Reserve raises interest rates soon, Bitcoin may experience further declines; if there is no rate hike, the market may have already hit bottom. Grayscale stated that structural adoption, the position in the cycle, and the overall macro outlook are currently relatively favorable, but future performance remains uncertain.
